Toshiba launched the 15.6-inch Satellite Pro L450 and 17.3-inch Satellite Pro L550 business laptops.
The laptops are powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card. The notebooks feature up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of hard drive, DVD burner, webcam, and Wi-Fi. The Satellite Pro L450 runs on Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 Professional upgrade media. The L550 laptop runs on Windows 7 Professional.
Price: the Satellite Pro L450 is priced at $629 and the L550 at $999.
Dell has released a 12.1-inch rugged tablet PC, the Latitude XT2 XFR. The first rugged capacitive multitouch tablet PC from Dell has protection against rain, dust, vibration, extreme temperatures, and accidental drops. The tablet PC features a 12.1-inch display which is outdoor-readable and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
The XT2 XFR is powered by an Intel Core Duo ULV SU9600 processor clocked at 1.6GHz with the vPro technology, up to 5GB of RAM, up to 128GB of SSD or up to 160GB of hard drive, an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card, wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, optional mobile broadband connectivity, Bluetooth, a speaker, a microphone, optional hot swappable 2-megapixel webcam or dedicated GPS, 3 USB ports, ExpressCard and SD slots, a Smart Card reader, a Firewire port, a VGA output, a fingerprint reader. Lenovo released a new 11.6-inch ultraportable laptop, the IdeaPad U150. This laptop is powered by an Intel CULV processor. The first model, the red U150 690968U, offers an Intel Pentium Dual-Core SU4100 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and Wi-Fi, and the second model, the black U150 690969U, features an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor at 1.3GHz, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, and Wi-Fi. Both laptops provide a 6-cell battery and don’t have optical drives. The LED backlight displays have a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The notebook measures 0.75-inch of thickness and weighs under 3 pounds. The laptop PC also provides a 1.3-megapixel webcam, speakers, a multitouch trackpad, and in terms of connectivity, it has an HDMI and VGA ports, 2 USB ports and an eSATA/USB combo port, a memory card reader, and a LAN port. Dell has released a new laptop computer, the Precision M6500, a 17-inch mobile workstation powered by an Intel Core i7 processor.
The laptop PC features an Intel Core i7-920XM Extreme, i7-820QM, or i7-720QM quad core processor, an ATI FirePro M7740 graphics card with 1GB of VRAM, a NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M graphics card with 1GB of VRAM, or a Quadro FX 3800M graphics card with 1GB of video memory, 4 memory slots that offer up to 16GB of RAM, dual hard drives, and a DVD burner or Blu-Ray drive. The mobile workstation weighs 8.5lbs and runs on Windows 7 or Windows Vista pre-installed.
The starting price for the standard Precision M6500 is $2,749. The price of the M6500 Covet edition laptop PC with an orange aluminum chassis and an edge-to-edge display starts at $4,219.

These business laptops feature 15.6, 14 and 13.3-inch displays, are based on the Intel CULV platform with Core 2 ultra-low voltage processors and the 4500MHD integrated graphics card, offer up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of hard drive, a DVD burner, and provide up to 8 hours of battery life with the 6-cell battery. These laptops are priced between $864 and $956.
